Hello, WE ARE
WE CONNECT PEOPLE WITH NATURE IN TOWNS AND CITIES TO ENABLE BOTTOM-UP ACTION EVERYDAY
Greentalk
Greentalk enables individuals and organisations to collaboratively deliver critical local environment improvements by encouraging bottom-up action through local community champions.
What is Greentalk?
A CONVERSATION BETWEEN ORGANISATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS
Greentalk enables interaction between organisations and individuals leading to environmental improvements.
Right now, there is a disconnect between the organisations who manage urban environments and the individuals who live, work and play in them.
Greentalk enables local government, business, charities and land managers to connect with and empower their stakeholders to drive positive, collaborative environmental change.
Greentalk empowers community champions. Greentalk allows individuals to be part of the solution.
How does Greentalk bring change?
GREENTALK ALLOWS INDIVIDUALS TO BE PART OF THE SOLUTION
Greentalk enables individuals and organisations to deliver valuable environmental improvements collaboratively.
Share
Organisations can set out the challenges faced by the community and share data and goals. Individuals can propose and champion environmental improvements to their locality, and take their own aligned action.
Enable
Organisations can empower individuals to take their own bottom-up actions and people can share what they have done. They can also share ideas, such as a new location for street trees, areas for parklets and improvements to street infrastructure.
Long-Lasting
A two-way dialogue between organisations and stakeholders is established, grown and maintained using local champions. Actions taken are collaborative and inclusive, and all contributions are recognised.
Model
Greentalk models the environmental benefits these initiatives can have, and tracks and publishes bottom-up actions and resulting improvements over time.
Greentalk in Action
Greentalk technology is already powering TreeTalk Local, supporting Abundance London coordinate 100+ tree waterers, and TreeTalk London, our solution engaging millions with their local street trees in London. Greentalk’s interactive Ask For It features are in use in London Car Free Day Ask For It and Events campaign.

Our Response to Covid-19
WE STAY POSITIVE
During this extraordinary time, when most people are at home and taking limited, local daily exercise, we are encouraging Londoners to take advantage of TreeTalk.
TreeTalk makes journeys from your doorstep more green, more interesting and maybe a bit surprising too.
TreeTalk is is a step towards our Greentalk vision.

Tens of thousands of Londoners use TreeTalk app to explore urban nature on coronavirus lockdown
Mr Tustain explained: "We think appreciation of nature in cities has intensified because of lockdown – people have had more time to notice the environment, including the trees, around them.
"What is exciting for us are the Mayor of London’s Streetspace plans aiming to place clean, green and sustainable travel at the heart of London’s recovery from Covid-19.
"And also, the Climate Emergency plans, where many areas are aiming to be carbon neutral by 2030, whilst dramatically expanding their tree planting, and co-design and co-creation with their residents and engagement."
How does Greentalk work?
I N F O R M I N S P I R E A C T I V A T E
Greentalk introduces the concept of the Community Living Data Landscape, connecting landowners & managers with their stakeholders through interactive maps and apps.
Greentalk focuses on a specific area – this can be anything from a local park or street to a city, county or national park. We provide tools for landowners and managers: councils, housing associations, national park authorities, environmental charities and visitor attractions. And we enable new insights for people: stakeholders of any kind including residents, visitors and businesses. This opens up unprecedented opportunities for collaboration including: volunteering, consultation, environmental improvement, visitor experience, attracting funds.
Three layers support our delivery
Landowner/manager – data provided by landowner or manager, bringing the landscape and their work alive
Greentalk – we take policies, strategies and frameworks, and bring them alive through Greentalk apps and tools
Stakeholders – interactions and outcomes, optionally delivered through local, on-the-ground, champions

The Greentalk platform enables community building through engaging your stakeholders within your campaigns and strategy. Greentalk informs, inspires and activates.
