Greentalk are excited to announce we have been selected as one of the final six in Bupa’s eco-Disruptive programme. Last week Bupa employees voted in their thousands to select a winner from each of the six categories to take part in the programme where Greentalk will develop a Minimum Viable Proposition (MVP) in collaboration with Bupa employees.
Bupa has identified six challenges that impact people and planetary health: reducing carbon emissions; improving air quality through greener transport; eliminating waste and reducing consumption; increasing, restoring or protecting biodiversity; making our cities healthier, more sustainable and resilient; and empowering people to improve their health and the planet’s health. Greentalk has been selected for the Healthier Cities and Citizens challenge area, and in the next stage of the programme we will be competing with a start-up from each of the five other challenge areas to move ahead to the final stage. In the global final, Bupa employees around the world will decide which start-up will be the recipient of a £200,000 investment.
Our vision is to develop a product based on Greentalk’s core technology centred around Bupa’s urban locations in the UK. This product will offer Bupa employees, clients, and the wider community new and exciting ways to interact with their local environment and will encourage active travel and nature connection to promote improved health and wellbeing for everyone.
